Iowa’s most popular Halloween event is back! Night Eyes at Blank Park Zoo, a festival of fun for children and adults. Billed as a night that’s “merry not scary,” the event provides an experience of the zoo as a world transformed. Lights and castles give a sense of magic, as storybook characters come to life.
Wear your costume and plan for trick or treating throughout the zoo, as well as other fun activities. There’s a train, “Fun Zone”, dancing among the pumpkins, and more!
The event will be held the last two weekends in October, the 20th through the 23rd and the 27th through the 30th. Hours are 5:30 to 8:00 pm on Thursday’s and Friday’s and 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday’s and Sunday’s.

Night Eyes is always a favorite event. I’ve always gone with my nieces, but I’m really looking forward to taking my son for the first time this year. He’s going to love it!
